10AM, the sunlight entered through the window hitting my eyes. Just some seconds after, when it started to hit my eyes, I woke up slowly rubbing my eyes with my paws and yawning softly. Pretty sleepy, I sat at the edge of the bed looking to my reflect on the mirror, standing up as suddenly, the screen of my mobile phone illuminated.
– Huh? Who can be at those hours...? – I asked to myself as I went to pick it.
I unlocked the screen, seeing the picture of an anthro dragon. As he unlocked his phone, he started to read the message.
"Hey Nathan! I know that today is your birthday, so I have decided to send you this message to congratulations you and to tell you that I talked with two friends who will be waiting you at the park at 2PM, don't get late! Hugs, Rathy."
– Well, he and more people sent me a message telling happy birthday. I will thanks them and I will prepare to go to the park.
After I replied everyone who messaged me, I went to the kitchen to prepare something for breakfast. I started to prepare a coffee and while it was finishing, I returned to my bedroom to change my clothes and get ready to go. I picked the keys of house and I went downstairs to go to the park. I looked to the watch and it was 1:39PM, thinking the way to go to the park, I started to walk slowly knowing that I would arrive at time. Just some minutes after, I reached the park sitting on a bench and looking around.
– Hmmm? There is no one... Uggh... Rathy tricked me again!! –I shouted standing up when I began to hear the bells, meaning that it was 2PM.
– You shouldn't get mad with him after he convinced us to meet you Nathan. – Said a mysterious voice over my head.
– Oh please, calm down Spyro. We know that Nathan is pretty kind. Am I wrong Nathan? – Said other voice, but it was a female voice.
– Yeah... Sorry Nathan. And what about you Cynder? Don't you have to tell him something?
– Oh yeah! Are you surprised to meet us Nathan?
– I-I'm speechless... It's a pleasure meet you two guys! – I replied really excited.
– Rathy told us that today is your birthday and that you are really fan of me and Cynder, so he asked us to be with you and carry you to your birthday party. – Told Spyro flapping his wings to sit on the bench as Cynder did as well.
– A birthday party? Oh... It's getting more awesome!
– And it will get more Nathan. Come with us, let's walk a bit and after we will go to your birthday party.
As they finished to talk, we started to walk around the city. Be with them was amazing! They told me a lot of their adventures, we told jokes and I explained them about how I'm doing with my life and what I'll do in a future. The hours ran and the night fell over us, the streetlights illuminating the place as they nodded and started to walk.
– Come Nathan, it's the hour to go to your bday party. – Said suddenly Cynder smiling softly to me.
– O-Okay! – I replied a bit nervously as we went to the party.
They, walking and smiling wide, and sometimes chuckling each other, carried me to my house where the lights were on.
– What? I closed my home and I have my keys... – I said as I started to touch my pockets, feeling as the keys were not in them. – W-WHAT?! DID I LOSE MY KEYS?!
Spyro and Cynder started to laugh as they walked towards my house going inside. I followed them and I saw a lot of people inside. Spyro, Cynder, Rathy, my master Mercury, and more people! As I entered everyone shouted happy birthday. I drew a big smile on my face and I hugged everyone.
– Thank you guys! It's really important for me that you did this! – I said almost going to cry.
– Hehehe... Don't start to cry Nathan, we are celebrating your birthday not something sad! – Said Rathy patting my back a bit strong.
– Yeah, so join us to your party and let's have some fun. – Added Mercury smiling and whispering something to Rathy.
– Heh... Don't think that I will back...
– Huh? W-What are you two talking about?– I asked getting scared about what they could be thinking.
– Hey Nathan... Why don't you enjoy first a bit with your party... And you, me and Rathy come to your room... With some... Tools?
– W-Which kind of tools?! – I shouted feeling as a tail wrapped my arms behind me.
– Don't try to resist Nathan... The feathers and you will be veeeery friendly... Hehehe...
My eyes got wide trying to escape as Rathy and Mercury carried me into my bedroom and they both pulled out a feather from their pockets starting to approach towards me.
– T-THIS IS THE WEIRDEST BIRTHDAY OF MY LIFE!!!
